Non UV Destructive Modelling

While Texturing a few assets I decided that some models needed some more tweaking tho I didn't want to have to re-unwrap and texture the assets all over again so as shown in the next image I used a few methods of no UV destructive modelling techniques to maintain the UV's and texture while adding extra geometry to the model.


 These kinds of techniques i used all the time however for those new to it you have to remember that because your adjusting the model but not the UVs or more so the Texture that doing this can result in Texture stretching. In this case it works to my advantage but in other cases it may cause the model to look funky and not very desirable.
